Sabra
צַבָּר
A sabra is a Jewish person who was born in Israel. The term is related to the Arabic word sabr, which means patience and perseverance. In Hebrew, the word sabra also refers to the prickly fruit of a species of cactus, prickly and rough on the outside but sweet, fruity, and succulent on the inside.
